The Jesus and Mary Chain top 10

The Jesus and Mary Chain are one of my favorite bands...and here's why:
1. My parents have come into my room yelling at me to turn them down when I was listening to them with headphones.
2. It's so cool tricking people into thinking your speakers are broken.
3. It's so cool the way I actually have broken speakers listening to them.
4. "Psychocandy"- one of the best albums ever.
5. "Honey's Dead"- No "Psychocandy" but what is, pray tell?
6. The two songwriters in the band are brothers while also not being Gallaghers.
7. Most of their early concerts in Scotland degenerated into riots.
8. No one but me can understand their lyrics through the HEAVY Scottish accents.
9. Their hair does the same thing mine does....I can't explain really...it's just that thing.
10. They fired the most prestigious rock producer in the UK after he suggested they turn the feedback down. Man, fuck that guy!!! JAMC without feedback is like ZZ Top without beards.
So yeah...they kick ass.
